Wildfires continue to sweep across Northern California, burning thousands of homes and businesses, forcing evacuations, closing hospitals. Tragically, more than a dozen lives have already been lost. The counties primarily affected are Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake, Butte, Yuba, Humboldt, Nevada, Calaveras, Solano and most recently Santa Cruz. Governor Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency.
